Our Staff

At the heart of the Eastside Early Learning center is a group of dedicated and caring teachers, education coordinator and director. Our registered nurse is onsite five mornings per week. The longevity of our staff is extraordinary. We have some teachers who have been employed here between 10 and 20 years!

Education and Experience
Each of our lead teachers has a bachelor’s degree; our assistant teachers have at least an associate’s degree. All teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Continued Growth
The administrators, nurse, and every teacher complete at least twenty professional development hours annually, including one professional day.  These hours may be in the areas of curriculum development, family engagement, assessment, classroom management, and health and wellness, to name a few.

About our Board of Directors
As a non-profit organization, the Eastside Early Learning Center is managed by a voluntary parent board of directors. The board is responsible for setting policies and procedures and for supporting the work of the director and the center as a whole.
